As the owner and broker for Urban Realty, Bruce is dedicated to extending comprehensive customer service to his clients. A trained professional with local knowledge and sophisticated resources, Bruce simplifies the selling and buying process by utilizing the latest market trends, industry technology, and marketing innovations. Prior to becoming a Realtor®, Bruce had 10 years in counseling as a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has a Bachelor of Arts as well as an Educational Specialist Degree (Masters +30) from the University of South Carolina. This experience has given him a solid foundation in terms of business planning, financial analysis, contract negotiations, marketing, people management, and an entrepreneurial determination. Using the professional knowledge and skill that he has developed enables Bruce to navigate buyers and sellers smoothly through the complex buying and/or selling process.
A history in appraisals, brokering, and now in his 5th year of his own company, are examples of his wealth of knowledge in the Charlotte housing industry. He has built Urban Realty to become the 14th largest real estate company of sales in Charlotte in 2006 and the 16th largest real estate company of sales in 2007 as reported in the Charlotte Business Journal.
His love of teaching is demonstrated with his enthusiastic and boisterous personality that makes attending his classes fun, rewarding, and memorable. With his 15+ years of entrepreneurial drive combined with his love for real estate and experience, Bruce helps his students to have the multifaceted skills necessary for their preparation for success in the real estate business.
He is a member of Charlotte Regional Realtor Association, Carolina Multiple Listing Service, National Association of Realtors, and the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association. He is licensed in North and South Carolina and is the Broker-in-Charge for Urban Realty. He has newly joined SSORE in 2008 and is looking forward to sharing his love of real estate with others.
