Diana has been in real estate all of her life. Her father was the 221st REALTOR in North Carolina. Much of her childhood was spent following him around going to closings, putting out for sale and sold signs, and riding buyers around. Real Estate was a natural career choice for Diana.
She began her real estate career in 1979, joining Bacon and Company Realty in Raleigh. Although the company changed names many times, most recently known as Prudential York Simpson Underwood, she stayed with the same company for 31 years! The first ten years of her career Diana was a sales associate. She was honored nationally by Merrill Lynch Realty as one of the top 60 agents in the country. For the last 21 years she served as Branch Manager for the Cary office of Prudential York Simpson Underwood. Diana retired from Prudential in June of 2011.
The one thing Diana enjoyed the most about her 22 years of managing sales people was coaching them to be the best they could be. The agents in her office had the highest per agent production of any offices in her market area for the last five years as their manager. She taught them to work smart, prospect, manage their business and keep balance in their lives. She is passionate about what she does and her success comes from the success of those she teaches.
Diana states that “the thing I love most about the business is teaching new sales associates. I am very excited to be part of the Superior School team!
