With more than 26 years of real estate industry experience, there’s hardly a law, issue, or definition Bill doesn’t know. He has built a successful career in real estate through the unique combination of education and entertainment. Graduates have benefited from his practical advice and proven strategies, presented with an upbeat, engaging style that inspires a passion for the business and a desire for professional excellence.
After graduating from Wake Forest University in just three years with a BS in Business from the School of Business and Accountancy, he returned to his native charlotte to begin his real estate career. Within a few years, he rose in the ranks to become Broker-In-Charge for Merrill Lynch Realty while teaching prelicensing and broker courses at Mingle School of Real Estate and ethics in new member orientation for the Charlotte Regional REALTOR® Association. His outstanding service to the community and the REALTOR® community was recognized when Bill received the 2006 REALTOR® of the Year award for the Charlotte Regional REALTOR® Association. In 1998, Bill was promoted to President of Career Development for Prudential Carolinas Realty and opened Bill Gallagher School of Real Estate under the Prudential umbrella. Bill opened Superior School of Real Estate in 2005.
With more than 20 outstanding instructors and staff, Bill remains one of the school’s most sought-after speakers. He assisted in the development of a 1,250 question tutorial CD to accompany Dearborn’s state approved textbook, “Modern Real Estate Practice in North Carolina” in addition to creating a 10-hour audio CD reviewing the state exam syllabus test topics. Bill’s instructor passage rate, for students taking the NC real estate exam for the first time, is consistently above 85%. His approach in prelicensing instruction continues to yield impressive results as evidenced by Superior School of Real Estate consistently being one of only nine schools in North Carolina with a passage rate of over 80%. In the 2008-2009 license year, Bill had over 27,000 continuing education registrants in classes offered at Superior School and REALTOR® Associations across the state. As the winner of many awards and recognitions from professional trade organizations and industry peers, Bill continues to focus on the key benefit of his fun, informative approach to professional education: Laugh and Learn.

An interesting discussion broke out at our table relative to your CE classes. To a person, we all discussed and agreed that even though there are less costly CE courses out there we all would and actually did, pay your fee without reservation just to be in YOUR class because you have the uncanny ability to make 8 hours fly by and your instructional style really helps adult learners retain more than most instructors.

Well, Jenny and I took the state exam this weekend, and we are done! We both passed! What a great feeling! I have to tell you, we are so impressed by how well you taught the material. We were blown away by how easy the state exam seemed after being in your class and going through the quizzes and tests that you provided. Neither of us could believe how easily we blew through the test on Saturday. You have a gift in teaching that is extremely rare. The way you teach the material makes it stick long-term.
