Steve leverages the benefits of his extensive management, operations, and marketing experience to keep Superior School’s operations running smoothly.
A Charlotte native, Steve is a graduate of Providence Day School, and earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. After working as a systems analyst in Research Triangle Park, Steve became Director of Information Technology Services for the Charlotte Area Health Education Center, a division of Carolinas Healthcare System. He served on the management team responsible for providing continuing educating to healthcare professionals in a seven county region, including physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and others in allied health professions. Among his many responsibilities, Steve produced more than 200 instructor-led application training courses annually, an initiative that significantly reduced costs and increased employee productivity for one of the largest employers in North Carolina.
Steve next transitioned to a more entrepreneurial role as Executive Vice President of Corporate Creative, an award winning, full-service advertising and marketing firm. Specializing in web strategy and internet marketing, Steve worked with a roster of regional and national clients and industry leaders, including BE&K Building Group, Moore & Van Allen, Kennedy Covington, Carolinas Cardiovascular Foundation, Sanger Clinic, First Colony, American Asset Corporation, and Celanese.
Always intrigued by real estate, Steve acted upon a friend’s referral and obtained his real estate license from the Bill Gallagher School of Real Estate in 2003. This led to an offer from Bill to join the school as Chief Operating Officer in February of 2007. At Superior School, Steve continues to work with Bill to further evolve the school’s presence, broaden and diversify the instructor network, and increase the size and scope of course offerings.
