McKissock offers its first real estate licensing course

After earning our stripes as the best choice in appraisal education, we add real estate to our portfolio of professions. Now real estate professionals and brokers have access to the same high-rated, peer-reviewed courses that set them up for success.

May 2000

McKissock goes online

McKissock successfully launches its first online course experience, setting an exciting new path for the company. For the first time, a licensed appraiser signed up for a course online, completed the course, and printed the certificate without ever having to leave the comfort of their own home.

May 1993

Legislation mandates appraisal education requirements

The Savings and Loans Crisis bailout legislation results in new requirements for appraisers, requiring them to get state licensing and/or certification and to take continuing education courses to keep their license active. Ready to serve, McKissock offered its first appraisal continuing education seminar on the topic of multiple linear regression analysis in good ole Pittsburgh, PA.


McKissock founded

Father and son duo Richard McKissock and Matt McKissock initiate a discussion about the practical application of using statistical analysis to appraise properties. They go on to design cutting-edge software and content for a course they call, “Multiple Linear Regression Analysis: The Approach of the Future.”

This would become the first course offered by McKissock.
