FAQs
To get a real estate license in North Carolina, you must be at least 18, have a valid Social Security number, complete the 75-hour state-approved Broker Pre-licensing course, and pass the NCREC licensing exam. These are the core requirements set by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
Superior School of Real Estate offers several exam-prep resources, including an instructor-led “Exam Crammer” (live or prerecorded), adaptive practice exams & flashcards via their CompuCram system, simulated exams, instructor Q&A sessions, and the standard course textbook + study guides.
Getting your North Carolina real estate license includes a $100 NCREC application fee, a $60 Pearson VUE exam fee for the full test (or $50 for a single section), plus a criminal background check whose cost varies. You must also complete the required 75-hour Prelicensing course, which at Superior ranges from about $529 to $949, depending on the package.
Superior sets itself apart with local staff on site, top-tier exam pass rates, industry-leading expert instructors, and over 20 years of training North Carolina brokers. Students can choose from multiple learning modalities with flexible schedules, and they benefit from the state’s strongest exam-prep system, including live Crammer sessions, adaptive practice tools, and instructor support. Overall, Superior offers a more comprehensive and proven path to passing the NC exam than most other schools.
